I had it too

I had that problem too with my own ID, but the thing was that I wasn't using the ID from Vault. Notes was actually using my old id file stored in \Notes\Data directory.

I removed the ID file from Data, and make a new notes.ini, forcing to set up Notes again. The client then downloaded the ID from the Vault and now that option is no longer greyed out.
